Back To Full Tilt Poker For a Minute

So I have been asked quite a few times what is going on with Full Tilt Poker? Well the answer to that question is outside of the US and a few additional countries, Full Tilt never went offline. If you happened to live in Russia, China, or one of the smaller European countries there was never even an interruption in service. This is why at all recent tournaments you saw multiple pro's still wearing FT gear...they are still getting paid. All while the North American continent and parts of Europe are without FT and without their funds which FT cant pay. This is the fact of the matter. Full Tilt LLC is fully operational and functioning and making money without paying us back.

Full Tilt Inc. however is shut down by the federal government and will remain that way until they pay US players back their money. The reason for this post is that it appears that the Full Tilt Inc. sale is pretty much a done deal at this point.

Multiple sites have confirment that the sale is very near to being finalized and what that means for us players that do not have access to FT currently is that our accounts will either have to be operational again when the site comes back up. OR they will have to pay out all of the funding that is owed and we will have to create new accounts to play on the site again.

Personally, I look forward to the site coming back. It was the best software in terms of playability out there.....even though it was rigged and not random (oh come now, you know I have to say that). BUT and here is where my thoughts kick in, I dont think enough was done to these players who were reaping the benefits of this pyramid scheme.

What was done on FT was no different than what was done by Bernie Madoff and he is behind bars for the rest of his life. I think Howard Lederer and the rest of his crew need the same treatment, Throw them in jail for 10 years, let legitimate poker professionals take over the site. It seems as if everyone who had a hand in this is going to get away basically penalty free and will reap the benefits and profits of this sale. I really dont think this is right.
